Course summary
The course is a step forward for the floral designer, exploring all aspects of floral design to a professional standard - traditional, period, contemporary and experimental designs. Incorporated within these designs are the latest trends in manipulation of fresh plant material and experimental designs using modern decorative accessories. We encourage work experience as an integral part of the course, giving students a valuable insight into the professional floristry industry.
Modules
Year 1 - Business Management; Professional Commercial Floristry (double module); Principles of Design and Photography Technical Skills. Year 2 - Academic and Vocational Skills; Sustainable Floristry and Workroom Management; International Floral Trends (double module). Year 3 - Industry Project; Research Practice; Wedding and Event Floral Design (double module).

Applicants who believe they may be eligible for Accreditation of Prior Certificated and/or Experiential Learning (APCL/APEL) will be considered on an individual basis.
