Course summary
Our Master of Business Administration with Professional Experience is a distinctive two-year course that combines academic study with extended professional practice. Alongside completing the same modules as our one-year MBA, you’ll undertake a substantial work placement or internship of at least 500 hours, gaining valuable real-world insight and connections. This innovative course is designed for ambitious professionals and recent graduates ready to fast-track into management. Unlike many MBAs, you don’t need years of experience – we’ll help you start your leadership journey early. You’ll graduate with holistic business knowledge and digital expertise, setting you apart in a competitive job market. Employers demand adaptable, multi-skilled graduates with a big-picture approach, able to innovate, lead teams and create solutions in a fast-changing world. At Westminster Business School, we’ll equip you with the technical and personal skills to thrive as a responsible, resilient and versatile leader. Through interdisciplinary modules spanning innovation, design thinking, sustainability, management complexity, data and finance, you’ll apply learning to live projects and business problems. Please note that students enrolled on the MBA with Professional Experience will not be able to transfer to the one-year MBA.
Entry requirements
A minimum of a lower second class honours degree (2:2) in any discipline. Work experience is not required but is welcomed. Successful students will demonstrate in their personal statement an ambition and capability to excel in management positions within large corporate organisations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), or their own start-up enterprise. We may also interview applicants either in person or online. If your first language is not English you should have an IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each component. Applicants are required to submit one reference.
