Course summary

Our MSc in Water and Environmental Management gives you the technical skills to manage pollution, alongside a detailed understanding of the urban aquatic environment. Emphasis is on the practical application of water and environmental management within industry. We aim to prepare you for a management career in the water and environmental sectors. When you graduate, you’ll be equipped to embrace the challenges around water problems caused by expanding urban areas worldwide. You’ll deepen your research skills and techniques by completing a dissertation on a topic you want to explore further, supported by our academic staff. Designed and delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of leading academics, the course is supported by input from real-world industrial practitioners. We have many years’ experience in environmental postgraduate education and a high research rating in Environmental Science in Scotland. You’ll graduate with all the professional skills you need to develop and manage successful water and environmental projects from the very start. The programme can be studied full time for one year or over two years part-time.
