Finance and accounting are the backbone of many organisations. But without good management, things can easily fall apart. You’ll learn how to solve complex finance and accounting problems, and keep organisations moving in the right direction. The MSc in Management, Finance and Accounting will provide you with a thorough understanding of the role of accounting and finance in organisational management. You will acquire the specialist knowledge and skills to deal with complex accounting and finance issues and handle them effectively in a range of management contexts. The course features a combination of core and option modules which allow you to focus on areas of interest that relate to your professional needs. You will develop an understanding of the main theories, models, frameworks, and techniques of management. Specifically, you will be provided with a stimulating and intellectually challenging learning experience, along with rigorous teaching in the concepts of financial management and accounting and general management tools and techniques. As well as specific knowledge of financial management and accounting, this degree will develop your ability to analyse and evaluate management problems and make sound strategic decisions.
