Course summary
The MEng Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is a novel, timely programme that delivers world class industry and research relevant teaching. It is built on strong foundations in mathematics, computer science and engineering that are exercised through practical work across a diverse range of projects – individual and group; academic and industrial. This programme therefore blends both technical depth and practical application of technical skills: we expect our graduates to be practitioners, able to apply their knowledge. The programme has a strong focus on solving real and realistic problems through problem-based learning and both individual and team-working. Whilst the programme has a strong technical basis, the potential (or intention) for robots to impact society means it also addresses the ethical and legal impact of robots on people and society.
