Course summary

Learn the professional skills to make a real difference to people’s lives and support them through significant mental health challenges. We’ll equip you with the proficiencies and confidence to help patients cope with issues such as depression, psychosis, trauma and dementia. You’ll learn psychotherapeutic interventions and psychological therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). You’ll practise your skills using our simulation facilities. These immersive spaces can be turned into a flat, ward, therapy room, GP practice or another real-world setting.
