Course summary
Secure your expertise with our MSc Marketing Management, which will allow you to design and implement marketing strategies for long-term brand growth and success in any organisation. The skills and competencies you’ll learn on this course will allow you to establish yourself as a fully rounded marketing professional. You’ll develop analytical and responsive planning skills that enable you to effectively coordinate complex and intricate marketing strategies. As part of this broad-spectrum strategic approach, you’ll gain experience and expertise of activities such as brand strategy, marketing communications and product launches. You’ll also gain competencies and knowledge of the core business functions that underpin any successful venture, and how they interrelate and influence each other across the entire operation. On arrival you’ll complete a skills and aspirations audit, allowing you to identify learning gaps. The insights gained will inform your development path on the Career Catalyst module. This allows you to track your personal and professional growth throughout the course, build a relevant skillset and develop your personal unique selling point. When you graduate, you’ll be ideally placed to pursue strategic roles such as marketing manager, brand strategist or marketing consultant.

Compulsory modules; contemporary marketing practice; strategic marketing planning marketing analytics; principles of marketing communications; research methods for marketing; global marketing; dissertation research methods.
Assessment method
Assessment is through supervised mini-projects, presentations, time-constrained assignments and examinations.
Entry requirements
You'll need: an honours degree of 2:2 or above in any subject. If you do not meet the above grade requirements but have at least 12 months relevant professional experience and/ or equivalent qualifications, we will consider you on an individual basis.
English language requirements
International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*). *The University accepts a large number of UK and international qualifications in place of IELTS.
