Course summary
This award is aimed at experienced researchers with research publications. Students will produce additional peer reviewed publication(s) and a critical report. Doctorates are awarded for a contribution to knowledge in the chosen disciplinary or professional field. Generic and subject-specific research training is compulsory
Assessment method
The assessors will look for evidence of an ability to articulate a research project, a coherent and well thought-out plan for doctoral study, and a good awareness of the place of his/her research within the current field.
Entry requirements
This is doctoral study. For a PhD you will be expected to devise an original research proposal. If you have a first or second class honours degree (usually a 2.1) or an equivalent qualification, you may be eligible to this course of study.
