Course summary
The degree explores the links between different aspects of accounting, finance, management and strategy e.g. International financial accounting and reporting, corporate finance, corporate governance, international finance, risk management and management and strategy. It will give you an international perspective of the theory and practice of accounting and finance. It focuses on accounting standards and the impact of leading standard-setting authorities, as well as international capital markets and topical issues in finance. It will expose you to contemporary debates and demonstrate how to apply theory to real-world issues in accounting, finance, management and strategy. It will also demonstrate the challenges involved in applying these theories. The degree offers ACCA exemptions from papers F1-F4 (the papers have been renamed as Applied Knowledge AB, Applied Knowledge MA, Applied Knowledge FA and Applied Skills LW).
Entry requirements
