Course summary
This course can either be studied at Wakefield College or Selby College. This BA (Hons) Degree allows you to shape your studies towards your career ambitions and build the knowledge, skills and experience needed to be a successful manager in a wide range of industries with a specific focus on finance. The course prepares you for the working world by covering a range of topics that are common to leadership and management in an increasingly diverse market. The course is mainly assignment-based and covers a variety of topics commonly encountered by the industry professionals. Small class sizes and a high level of tutor support help ease you through this degree course. This is a taught course where you'll participate in a range of learning activities including online and face to face lectures, classroom presentations, research tasks, group work, exhibitions, workshops, tutorials and self-directed activities. Through these sessions, you'll develop the knowledge and skills to support your assignment work. Typically, you will normally have around 10 hours of taught classes per week and will be expected to complete another 10 hours per week self-directed study.
