This exciting new distance-learning programme offers a high-quality curriculum in a structured taught format. Blending theory and reflective practice in professional education in a range of educational and training contexts, and informed by research, it offers flexible participation at different levels, appropriate to your learning needs and professional requirements. Delivered entirely online using tried-and-tested technology and an innovative learning platform, the programme enables students to enrol and participate fully from anywhere in the world, offering potential for shared learning experiences. A core feature of the Master’s programme is the concept of the reflective practitioner. We’ll introduce you to the underpinning principles and theories of teaching and learning and encourage critical reflection on your own professional practice and the culture and community within which you work. Wherever you are in the world, you will be a Marjon student and have access to high quality learning resources, including those to be found online through the University’s extensive library, and through the interactive programme pages on the digital learning platform. You will receive individual and specialist support from programme tutors, who will be in regular contact through discussion forums, tutorials, and webinars.
