Course summary

BA (Hons) Applied Business Innovation is designed to foster graduates with cognitive and applied skills to be able to add value to their employer through innovation or enable them to innovate within the context of their own business or start-up. What students will learn:

  • Gain broad and coherent knowledge of business fundamentals, theories and debates and equip students with real-world insights underpinned by relevant business frameworks and tools required to innovate within business and industry.
  • How to identify, critically evaluate and apply meaningful solutions to management challenges within new and established organisations, fusing both traditional and modern approaches to achieve ‘best practice’ possible outcomes.
  • To develop the skills to create and design innovative approaches to business within a range of markets, communicate them in an appropriate manner to a variety of audiences, and consider social, financial, and environmental outcomes.
  • Develop a portfolio of applied tools and professional insights relevant within a broad range of industries, whilst benefiting from the flexibility of online delivery.
