This is a four-year programme that includes a year of foundational study and leads directly into the degree course. Our foundation year offers the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence, before you advance to stage one of your honours degree. Start your journey to becoming a high-flying specialist manager in the global aviation industry with one of the world’s only Aviation Management degrees approved by The Royal Aeronautical Society. Delivered in partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Cardiff Airport, our dedicated aviation qualification introduces you to everything from aviation law and strategic management to airport operations and the human side of aviation. Your learning will take place at Cardiff School of Management, Cardiff Airport and online with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Compulsory work experience at Cardiff Airport in your second year will give you the chance to put theory into practice, showcasing your skills and talents to future employers. Designed to give you world-class training, combining the latest aviation management theories with hands-on experience, you’ll graduate as a skilled and innovative aviation management specialist, fully prepared to meet the industry’s current and future needs. With a strong focus on real-world skills, you’ll benefit from our close relationship with Cardiff Airport, gaining direct exposure to airport business and operations throughout your studies.
