Course summary
Biomedical Sciences at York explores the molecular mechanisms of disease and applies this knowledge to develop new diagnostics and therapies. This course combines advanced research training with commercial awareness and entrepreneurial skills, preparing you to turn discovery into innovation. You’ll build knowledge in biomedical research topics, data analysis and programming, and professional research skills before tackling a group project and case studies. In your final semester, you’ll complete an extended independent research project on an applied biomedical topic.

2:2 or equivalent in bioscience. We also consider applicants with substantial industry experience.
