Course summary
The MA Digital Media Innovation programme is designed for creative professionals and media enthusiasts who wish to advance their skills in the rapidly evolving digital media landscape. This programme is for individuals looking to explore multimedia storytelling, interactive media, and digital content creation. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers advanced digital media production techniques, including animation, video editing, and interactive design. Teaching for postgraduate programmes in the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will be delivered at our new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, opening 2026. Here, a new Centre student hub, Active Learning Studios, a hands-on Maker Space and event spaces will provide the backdrop for challenge-led learning and enhanced links with businesses.

Entry requirements
You will typically need an upper second-class honours degree or an international equivalent in any discipline. We will consider your application if your interim grades are currently slightly lower than the programme's entry requirements and may make you an aspirational offer. This offer would be at the standard level, so you would need to achieve the standard entry requirements by the end of your degree. We will also consider your application if your final overall achieved grade is slightly lower than the programme's entry requirement. If your achieved grade is lower than our entry requirements, your application may be more likely to receive an offer if you have a relevant postgraduate qualification.
