Practice assessments are developmental and any grades you receive for them do not count towards your module mark. Each module has one or more formal or ‘summative’ assessment. This includes a range of assessments, such as essays, reports, problem-solving tasks, portfolios, presentations, academic posters, projects, dissertations and written examinations. The grades from formal assessments count towards your module mark.
