Course summary

Start dates: MSc by Research - 1st October, 1st January, 1st April & 1st July. The MSc by Research in Environmental Dynamics allows you to undertake a year-long individual programme of personally and professionally enriching research. While this programme usually finishes after a year, it can be used to progress to the second year of a PhD degree in the appropriate circumstances. Your environmental dynamics research project will be shaped by participation in activities such as seminars, workshops, laboratory activity and fieldwork, as well as your involvement in our established environmental dynamics research group. In the latest Research Assessment Exercise, 95% of Geography research at Swansea was judged to be of international quality, and 60% was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. Entry requirements

Normally a minimum of an upper second class Honours degree or equivalent in geography or a related field. IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
