Advance your career in sport and exercise medicine Designed for qualified doctors, physiotherapists, and osteopaths with clinical experience, this course offers in-depth study in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of sport and exercise related medical conditions and injuries. Delivered at Manchester Metropolitan University, you’ll gain hands-on experience in our specialist facilities, including the environmental chamber, 3D performance capture hall, and exercise testing laboratories. Practical sessions cover biomechanics, aerobic capacity testing, and more. Through interactive sessions and case-based learning, you’ll develop the specialist knowledge needed to excel in sport and exercise medicine. Explore topics such as injury diagnosis, sports nutrition, sports psychology, and physiotherapy to help athletes return to competition, while advancing your own career in this dynamic field.
