Course summary

The aim of this BSc (Hons) Computing top-up degree programme is to prepare individuals for graduate level employment within the computing sector by building the core skills already achieved, necessary to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues. Specific aims are: • To demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Computing knowledge and be able to exercise critical judgement in the use of that knowledge. • To enable students to undertake problem identification and analysis across the computing lifecycle. • To demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in a highly proactive and accomplished manner and to make effective use of tools and techniques to successfully communicate to a range of technical and non-technical audiences. • To be able to identify appropriate practices and perform within a professional, legal and ethical framework.
