You will gain a global outlook on business, finance and the economy and will learn directly from seasoned industry figures working for elite international news organisations. You will develop skills as a multimedia journalist by telling stories about business, finance and the economy. While many traditional roles in newsrooms are disappearing, financial journalism is growing and our graduates are in high demand. Studying the financial sector in London will give you a unique insight into global business, while funded study trips will help you get to grips with global economics and stock markets such as the Hang Seng Index and Wall Street. Most students don’t have any background in finance but are interested in working as financial journalists. The programme also attracts working journalists who want to specialise in financial journalism, and graduates with a background in the financial sector who want to work as journalists. We welcome applications from UK/EU graduates and non-EU graduates with good English skills.
