Course summary

If you want to expand your vocal skills as a singer, rapper, emcee and more, and learn how to produce your own music, this programme is the right choice for you. This one year course is equivalent to a year of the full-length three year and two year degree options. This programme is developed and taught by industry professionals who’ve worked with huge stars like Pharrell Williams, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani and Rihanna. You’ll graduate with the skills and knowledge to help you make it as a successful artist/performer: Learn how to write, produce and perform your vocals professionally, in the studio and on stage Join a global alumni community with the likes of Izzy Bizu, Aluna Francis, Leona Lewis and more Study at our state-of-the-art facilities in Shoreditch with small class sizes designed to give you the best engagement with lecturers Access the best music production equipment for free and work directly with teaching staff on your vocals and music in 1-2-1 sessions Enjoy professional recording studios to get the most out of your vocals Engage with the wider Point Blank community and attend free masterclasses, collaboration events and other networking opportunities

All applicants must be able to demonstrate English language at CEFR level B2, equivalent to grade C / 4 at GCSE. Please note this requirement also applies to mature students (21 or over) without formal qualifications who have been admitted based on their admissions test and/or prior experience. All international students requiring visa sponsorship require an IELTS Academic test. If you are an international student applying for a Student Visa and do not currently have a valid IELTS Academic test, Point Blank will be happy to provide a fee waiver of 185 GBP, to be waived from your fees upon successful registration only. Point Blank will not provide further waivers for resits and the IELTS test booking receipt must be provided as proof of test fee paid. Fee waivers are applicable to tests completed post-application date only.

Applicants applying from the European Union The We Are Europe Scholarship is awarded to EU applicants without settled or pre-settled status in the UK. This scholarship allows the same financial benefits as domestic students by granting EU students the home tuition fee. To be eligible, applicants must be accepted on any of our higher education courses at our London campus and not have previously studied a degree. Students with Pre-settled or Settled status in the UK should be eligible for UK Home Fees.
