Your foundation year will give you a grounding in business management, preparing you for your future studies. As you progress into your first, second and third years of study, you will further develop your responsible leadership and strategic thinking. In your first year, you will study core modules to help build your understanding of how organisations function and how HR fits into the wider business context. The second year will see you diving deeper into HR, looking at employment law, project management, business intelligence and people management. Gain hands-on experience through a paid industry placement or study abroad opportunity, enhancing your professional network and employability. In your final year, you'll advance into strategic HR looking at entrepreneurship, sustainability, leadership and management.
Assessment method
We use different assessment techniques in different modules and try to ensure all assessments reflect the types of work you will do after graduating. This may include portfolio work, multiple choice questions, group reports and problem-solving questions.
