Why this course? • The BSc (Hons) Professional Policing degree provides students with the knowledge, confidence and skills to work in professional police related career. • Students will develop skills on problem solving, communication, leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking that will enable them to succeed in a professional role. • Across the programme students will explore key areas of criminology in depth while also focusing on specific areas of policing, police practice, policy and procedure and police cultures and society. • Students who successfully complete the programme will not only have knowledge of the relevant skills, but will understand the social, political, theoretical, and cultural contexts of all aspects of crime and policing practices. Subject to validation, we will be offering the Pre-join Degree in Professional Policing too.
