Aerospace engineers design aircraft and spacecraft, making air travel safer and more efficient, and advancing space exploration. Their work improves communication, national security, economic growth, and sustainability, and helps us to better understand the universe and our place in it. Our practical one-year Aerospace Engineering BSc(Hons) top-up course allows you to build on your existing engineering foundation degree or HND to achieve a full honours degree qualification. Modules
The course is mostly delivered through lectures with specific laboratory and coursework activities built in to give practical insights into the theory. The syllabus focuses on both the practical and theoretical elements of automotive engineering. You will also undertake around 20 hours of independent study each week.
