Course summary
This course gives you the specialist knowledge and skills you need to work and succeed the fast-evolving field of digital film production. You explore areas such as cross-media approaches to storytelling; scriptwriting; production planning and development; digital film production; editing and post-production techniques; and film history and theory. Building on experience, you further develop your understanding of both fiction and non-fiction film-making through an advanced study of film theory which you apply in practice, building your creativity and personal style. Entry requirements
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree at Honours level, or equivalent. Applicants should have an initial degree in the area of arts, humanities or social science; or significant media industry experience. All applicants must provide a two-page proposal for a documentary they would like to make and provide evidence of an ability to use images to tell stories via a show reel.
