Course summary
Starting Jan 2025 Our MSc Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides a comprehensive foundation in the concepts and technologies necessary for developing and applying AI in diverse contexts. This 16-month course, which starts in January, covers computational principles, methods, and systems applicable to various real-world applications. It emphasizes the mathematical foundations, programming skills, and critical thinking required for AI. Throughout the course, you will explore both classic AI topics, such as machine learning, visualisation, optimisation and big data, as well as symbolic AI and contemporary natural language processing and generative AI approaches. During the summer, you will apply your knowledge on such topics to address a real-world problem through a collaborative project module. Entry requirements
Minimum 2:2 (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline. IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent English test.
