This BSc (Hons) Environmental Health programme has great strength in delivering the practical and academic skills required for a career in environmental health including problem solving, communication, research and management skills. It also aims to facilitate the development of your own personal, communication and intellectual abilities. The course includes the core subjects of food safety and integrity, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and sustainability, housing and communities, and public health and well-being. The areas of sustainability, quality of life, health inequalities, law and regulation are also integrated throughout the programme.

Qualification requirements

English Language requirements for international applicants The minimum requirement for this course is Academic IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5. Trinity ISE: Pass at level III also meets this requirement for Tier 4 visa purposes. Ulster recognises a number of other English language tests and comparable IELTS equivalent scores.
