By taking our programme you’ll become a leader in Sports Medicine. We’ll teach you evidence-based practice to deliver safe and effective care to those engaging in sport. Our course includes a contemporary collection of modules and there are options to suit general practitioners, physiotherapists, sports therapists and sports rehabilitators. Whether you’re currently working in sport or aspire to at any level, we’ll enhance your skills in assessment, management and rehabilitation of sports injuries and common medical conditions. Entry requirements

Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree in either of the following subjects: Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or similar qualification, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Sports Therapy or BSc Sports Rehabilitation. MBBS students can complete MSc as an intercalation year after year 3 of undergraduate training. Applications from other related professions will be considered on an individual basis. Be actively engaged in or access clinical experience in a Sports and Exercise Medicine practice in order to support learning within the programme. Interview required. IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 with no component less than 6.0 or equivalent to be completed prior to the course commencement date A satisfactory Criminal records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland) is required for this course.
