Course summary
In today’s rapidly evolving global environment, organisations face a variety of complex challenges, shaped by political shifts, economic volatility, technological advancements, and environmental concerns. To succeed in this landscape, future graduates must be agile and innovative. They need to move beyond traditional silos of business disciplines, becoming well-rounded professionals with strong analytical skills and a global perspective. This collaborative programme brings together the academic strengths of King’s Business School, one of the UK’s leading institutions for undergraduate business education, and EDHEC, one of Europe’s top 10 business schools. It sets itself apart from traditional business analytics courses by embedding a strong international focus throughout. The programme will provide you with dual perspectives on global business practices both within the curriculum, but also by the nature of the delivery, by spreading learning across two universities. In the first two years at King’s, you will build a strong foundation in business and management, as well as gaining essential knowledge in analytics and international business. The final two years at EDHEC allow students to deepen their knowledge in the business management field, as well as choose among the proposed specialisations and minors. Key benefits Our integrated curriculum combines business analytics with widely-understood management and its disciplines, with international perspective and technology literacy for a well-rounded approach. Emphasises practical experience with advanced data science tools and real-world applications. Taught in a central London location which offers close ties to leading business and financial institutions. Build a strong foundation for advanced studies and enhance employability through critical thinking and effective communication skills.
Modules
At King’s you will be taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials and independent study. A typical 15-credit module will include a 1 - 2-hour lecture and a 1-hour tutorial each week. We encourage critical analysis and debate on contemporary business issues. We place great emphasis on independent study and research to bring your ideas and things you have discovered to discuss. As a student of business and finance, you will use resources which include books, newspapers and magazines, the internet, social media, TV and radio and more to understand the discipline: how things were done and have developed; contemporary business issues and challenges; and what might be in the future.
Assessment method
Your performance will be assessed through a combination of coursework and written/practical examinations. Forms of assessment may typically include written examinations, presentations (both individual and group), in-class tests and coursework. Some modules may include 'Tutorial Assessment' which may reflect your class participation.
