Course summary

BA (Hons) Fashion Visual Merchandising and Branding facilitates your understanding of all aspects of fashion visual branding and retailing at all levels of the market. The course will study of the relationship between brands and their customers. What can you expect? BA (Hons) Fashion Visual Merchandising and Branding covers trend research, design development, store design and online visual merchandising. Students build understanding and professional skills to be a confident visual merchandiser across an omni-channel environment. Students will study internationalism, sustainability, innovation, strategy and entrepreneurship. There are opportunities for collaborative projects with other students in the fashion business programme. These will help to build industry relevant knowledge and practice by working with a prestigious company. You will have the option of doing a placement year between the second and final year of the course. Successful completion of this placement year will give you an additional qualification. You will also have the opportunity to make contacts and build relationships within the industry. BA (Hons) Fashion Visual Merchandising and Branding is recognised by the British Display Society as a UK ‘Centre of Excellence’. Graduates have the opportunity to become members of the British Display Society and may receive the award of ProDip.BDS upon successful completion of the course. London College of Fashion (LCF) undergraduate courses develop your personal and professional skills. On this course you will develop skills in your discipline until you are an independent creative thinker. Your skills will make you capable of making an effective contribution to this sector of the fashion industry. We embed Personal and Professional Development (PPD) skills in all units on every course. Speaker programmes with contributions from alumni and members of industry are a part of many courses. We encourage graduates who wish to continue their education at postgraduate level to progress to suitable courses within the College, the University or elsewhere. Graduates from this course work in a number of roles including as visual merchandisers. Employers have included Ralph Lauren, Marks and Spencer, House of Fraser, Ikea and Harvey Nichols. This course is based at John Prince’s Street, LCF’s most central site. Located at the heart of Oxford Circus the site has convenient access to every high street shop that London has to offer. The local areas of Marylebone, Mayfair and Soho are home to many of London’s main attractions, points of interest and museums. Additional fee information

The Home fee is correct for entry in autumn 2025 and may increase for entry in autumn 2026. Please note that this fee is subject to the passing of secondary legislation approving a fee cap of £9,535. In the event this is not passed the tuition fee would be £9,250. Please check the fees and funding section of your course page on our website for more information: www.arts.ac.uk/courses. Tuition fees may increase in future years for new and continuing students. The International fee is correct for entry in autumn 2025 and is subject to change for entry in autumn 2026. Tuition fees for international students may increase by up to 5% in each future year of the course.
