Course summary
Join one of the longest running Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) courses in the UK. You’ll not be trained to merely absorb information but to critically analyse it. You’ll learn to debate, to influence and to lead. Spend time in Westminster on a politics-related placement and choose to head abroad for a trimester to experience education and cultures in a different country. You’ll learn through lectures, small groups and one-to-one time with your supervisor, and, from your second year, will be free to choose options that interest you from our extensive curriculum. Assessment method
You'll be assessed through a combination of written, practical and coursework assessments throughout your degree. Written assessment typically includes exams and multiple choice tests. Practical is an assessment of your skills and competencies. This could include presentations, school experience, work experience or laboratory work. Coursework typically includes essays, written assignments, dissertations, research projects or producing a portfolio of your work.
