Course summary

This course empowers you to make a valuable contribution to the managerial and accounting functions of any organisation, including sole traders, partnerships, private and public companies, and charitable organisations. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills of corporate finance. This forms the basis of investment analysis and decisions and should enable you to undertake a variety of risk assessments relating to financial matters. You should expect to understand the models of financial risk management and their application within a range of professional settings. Upon graduation, this course could open doors to a wide range of career opportunities in roles such as chartered and certified accountant, finance and investment analyst, taxation expert, and financial manager and advisor. This Higher National Diploma (HND) follows the curriculum for Years 1 and 2 of the Financial Management and Accounting BA (Hons) degree course.
