Entry requirements for advanced entry (i.e. into Year 2 and beyond)

Advanced Entry to year two (HND) may be possible if you have completed the HNC Visual Communication, with a B or above in the Graded Unit. Year 3 entry is unavailable at Inverness for 2024/25.

International applicants

Students will need Student Route visa sponsorship to study in the UK.

Our programmes are taught and examined in English. Additional fee information

This is a Top-Up Degree whereby Year 1 of the course comprises an HNC and in some cases Year 2 an HND. Courses which comprise an HN award as their first and/or second year will be charged the Higher National fee for the first and/or second year, increasing to the degree fee rate after this. Please see the course page for specific fees details. RUK students will be charged the RUK HN fee for the Higher National portion of the programme and the degree portion will be charge at the RUK degree fee, the fourth year of consecutive study on the programme is free. EU/EEA and Swiss nationals starting their study in Scotland from academic year 2021-22, who do not have settled status, will be considered as international for fee purposes. For 2023-24, the university offered an automatic scholarship for the degree level study, with the 4th year of honours degrees free for those studying full-time, on continuous study.
