Human resources professionals who can motivate employees whilst protecting the organisation from non-compliance are highly sought after. Our undergraduate Business with Human Resource Management programme will help you to develop an understanding of how organisations run. You'll look at key aspects of HRM, including employee engagement, awareness of organisational culture, effective communication and employment law. You will explore ethical and sustainable business practices, as well as the technical tools you need to become a rounded HR professional. / Develop core HR skills required to manage people effectively. / Study in a dynamic environment and learn practical management skills from business simulations and live projects. / Build your own personal portfolio to enhance your CV and demonstrate your knowledge and skills to future employers. This course is also available with: • Study Abroad – study with one of our partner Universities for a semester or a year. • Foundation Year – start with the fundamental areas of business and the key skill you need to study at University level. Modules
Year 1: Introduction to Human Resources, Digital Business Skills, Understanding Organisations, HR Business Skills, The Future of Business, Data Analysis for Business. Year 2: Professional Development, Managing and Coordinating Human Resources, Project Management, Employment Law for Business, Live Project in HRM, Business Intelligence and Dashboards. On completion of year 2 you will undertake a year's paid professional placement. You will not pay fees to the University and will earn a wage for the work that you do. Year 3: Business Ethics and Sustainability, Employee Engagement and Reward, Leadership and Management in HRM, Resourcing and Talent Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Enhancing Professional Practice.
