Course summary

Climate change, and the need to make our energy sources as efficient as possible, is arguably one of the most important struggles faced by our generation. There has never been a more important time to understand energy. This course explores all aspects of the energy industry with a focus on sustainability running throughout the programme. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of energy management and examine the conceptual themes and approaches present in energy systems management. There are a variety of potential career opportunities both in the UK and internationally within organisations like national and international oil companies, government agencies, local government, and global consultancies. With the growth of sustainability across every sector, this HND could also open a wide variety of career opportunities. This Higher National Diploma (HND) follows the curriculum for Years 1 and 2 of the Energy Management BSc (Hons) degree course.
