Course summary
The HND Energy Management degree course explores many aspects of the energy industry. You will examine the changing energy mix, which includes renewable energy and oil and gas management. You will also consider the social and environmental impacts of the energy sector. Climate change, and the need to make our energy sources as efficient and sustainable as possible, is arguably one of the most important challenges faced by our generation. There has never been a more important time to understand energy management.
Assessment method
Course content and assessments have been designed to help you develop both theoretical knowledge and understanding, as well as the practical skills to enhance your career and academic opportunities. The HND Oil, Gas and Energy Management degree course not only provides an exciting insight into what is considered the dynamic area of energy management, but also develops key transferable communication, digital and time management skills.

Qualification requirements
All applications are considered on an individual basis and the whole application is reviewed which includes previous and predicted qualifications, experience, reference and your motivation to study the course. The University also accepts the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate/BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma and BTEC Level 3 National Diploma/BTEC Level 3 Diploma for entry onto degree programmes, provided that they are studied in combination with other qualifications that are equivalent to three A2 Levels. This may include subject specific requirements where necessary. If you are successful in receiving an offer, you will be invited to an Applicant Visit Day to discover more about the course and studying at Coventry University Group.
