Join this HNC in building studies and develop a deep understanding of the design, function and construction of buildings, preparing you for managerial positions in the construction industry. The HNC Building Studies will give you broad and balanced knowledge of the design, function, construction and statutory requirements for buildings. You'll develop your practical skills in construction technology and sustainability, health and safety, quantity surveying, and project and risk management. The course combines high-level academic study with practical elements. It enables you to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Mature applicants over 21 years of age with relevant industrial experience In addition to the above, applicants wishing to enter the programme will be expected to be in relevant employment and will be required to attend an interview with the teaching staff
