Join this HNC in building studies and develop a deep understanding of the design, function and construction of buildings, preparing you for managerial positions in the construction industry. The HNC Building Studies will give you broad and balanced knowledge of the design, function, construction and statutory requirements for buildings. You'll develop your practical skills in construction technology and sustainability, health and safety, quantity surveying, and project and risk management. The course combines high-level academic study with practical elements. It enables you to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
