Course summary
Develop the skills needed to tackle current and future technological challenges. This degree is designed to provide you with the fundamental engineering skills needed to tackle current and future technological challenges. You'll also develop the specialist knowledge necessary for developing careers in renewable energy generation and power delivery. In the first two years, you'll learn the foundations of engineering by studying a set of modules covering core engineering topics, including:
- electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering
- materials and manufacturing
- mathematics and modelling
- sensors and control.
- In years three and four, you'll continue to build on these core skills and study a set of specialist modules designed to explore the central role of engineering in the development of renewable energy technologies.
