In today's digital world, cyber threats are evolving rapidly, making cyber security and forensic investigation critical skills in safeguarding individuals, businesses, and governments. This Cyber Security and Computer Forensics degree will give you the essential knowledge and practical skills to protect digital systems, investigate cybercrime, and combat evolving online threats. What you’ll learn

  • Grasp cyber security fundamentals and learn how to identify, analyse, and respond to security threats.
  • Learn the tools and techniques behind ethical hacking and penetration testing.
  • Explore how to secure networks, systems, and data against malicious attacks, human error, and vulnerabilities.

  • Throughout this cybersecurity course, you’ll develop specialist skills in both digital security and computer forensics, giving you the ability to protect digital environments and investigate security breaches. You’ll explore real-world case studies, gain hands-on experience with industry tools, and learn from experts.
Designed to meet the latest industry needs and employer expectations, with a Cyber Security and Computer Forensics from CCCU, you’ll be fully prepared to enter industry upon graduation. Location This course is run at our Canterbury Campus in Kent. Canterbury is just 50 miles south-east of London and less than an hour by high-speed train from St Pancras. Located on a UNESCO World Heritage Site the campus offers state-of-the-art buildings, right in the centre of a vibrant and world-famous cathedral city. You’ll benefit from a campus with excellent learning and teaching resources, music venues, a superb sports centre, a well-stocked bookshop and plenty of coffee bars and places to eat. A short walk away is Augustine House our award-winning library and home to a vast range of learning resources and student support teams.

Home (UK) Fees: Home (UK) tuition fees for standard undergraduate degree and PGCE courses at Canterbury Christ Church University are currently set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap set by the UK Government. Canterbury Christ Church University expects the 2026/27 tuition fees for standard undergraduate degrees (excluding Foundation Year 0) and PGCE courses for Home students, to be set at the maximum tuition fee cap, currently £9,535. However, this is subject to any changes to the maximum tuition fee cap, or any other changes to regulated undergraduate tuition fees, that might be subsequently approved by Parliament for the 2026/27 academic year.
