This Cyber Security and Computer Forensics degree will give you the essential knowledge and practical skills to protect digital systems, investigate cybercrime, and combat evolving online threats. What you’ll learn

  • Grasp cyber security fundamentals and learn how to identify, analyse, and respond to security threats.
  • Learn the tools and techniques behind ethical hacking and penetration testing.
  • Explore how to secure networks, systems, and data against malicious attacks, human error, and vulnerabilities.

Throughout this cybersecurity course, you’ll develop specialist skills in both digital security and computer forensics, giving you the ability to protect digital environments and investigate security breaches. You’ll explore real-world case studies, gain hands-on experience with industry tools, and learn from experts. You'll study in our multi-million pound Verena Holmes building which has four extensive computing labs and a makerspace area where you can collaborate on projects with other students. You’ll gain real-world experience through projects provided by companies across the region. We are one of a few universities that follow the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) approach to problem solve computing issues. Developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, it enables you to learn in a practical, hands-on way to find creative solutions to challenges faced by industry. Designed to meet the latest industry needs and employer expectations, with a Cyber Security and Computer Forensics from CCCU, you’ll be fully prepared to enter industry upon graduation.

Home (UK) Fees: Home (UK) tuition fees for standard undergraduate degree and PGCE courses at Canterbury Christ Church University are currently set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap set by the UK Government. Canterbury Christ Church University expects the 2026/27 tuition fees for standard undergraduate degrees (excluding Foundation Year 0) and PGCE courses for Home students, to be set at the maximum tuition fee cap, currently £9,535. However, this is subject to any changes to the maximum tuition fee cap, or any other changes to regulated undergraduate tuition fees, that might be subsequently approved by Parliament for the 2026/27 academic year.
