If you have ambitions to make it big in the music business, then this course will give you the knowledge and industry experience you need to manage your own career and commercialise your activities. MA Music Industry Management & Promotion is designed to facilitate the commercial exploitation of music-related activities and is suitable for aspiring and current music business people, and for music creators who wish to proactively manage their own careers. It provides an opportunity to study the music business at the postgraduate level and to get real hands-on experience of working on real-world projects. In this course, you will be able to study contemporary practice across the spectrum of the music industry. You’ll look at different business models and explore the ways in which creative products are marketed and promoted. You’ll also engage with the key issues being confronted by today’s music industry such as the Pandemic and the impact of new technology and the development of the digital marketplace – and explore the challenges and opportunities which have emerged.
