If you existing qualification isn't listed above, you may still be considered based on the outcome of Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) and your portfolio showcase. If your level 5 qualification is older than 5 years old, or you hold a level 5 in a discipline that is not directly aligned, you may still be considered based on your more recent experiential learning. You will be required to provide a portfolio of work as part of the Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) process. Portfolio Requirements: As part of the application process for this course, you'll have the exciting opportunity to showcase your portfolio. We believe in the importance of firsthand evaluation and interaction, which is why we invite applicants to attend an Applicant Day where portfolios can be reviewed in person as part of a comprehensive Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) session. Every applicant will receive personalised IAG to ensure that their unique qualifications and experiences are considered. Alongside your formal qualifications, we encourage you to discuss any evidence of relevant experience gained through employment or other verifiable sources. This holistic approach allows us to assess your potential and suitability for the course accurately. At our Applicant Day, you'll have the chance to present your portfolio, providing insights into your creative abilities, skills, and passions. This hands-on evaluation process not only allows us to gauge your talents but also gives you the opportunity to showcase your work in a supportive environment, as well as meeting your peers. You will be required to provide a digital or traditional portfolio of a minimum of 8 pieces of work, which you feel best demonstrate your abilities and creative style and which will be discussed as part of a meeting with the teaching team on the day. We believe that your portfolio is a reflection of your creativity, dedication, and potential, and we look forward to seeing the unique contributions you'll bring to our vibrant community. Performance Requirements: For those students specialising in music will expect the same process as is highlighted for visual arts students, but can expect to be asked to demonstrate their sound-based creativity as part of a portfolio or short performance of their work. Clear information and guidance on this requirement will be provided in advance.
