Top up to a degree If you currently work, or intend to work in a special education needs and disability (SEND) setting and hold a level 5 qualification, this programme enables you to top up a full BA (Hons) degree. The course aims to deepen y our critical knowledge, skills and application to an understanding of the diverse and inclusive aspect of SEND. Throughout this course you'll explore how SEND may impact upon children, young people and adults, whilst building the professional skills and knowledge to meet their needs. You’ll advance your professional development through studying core modules which cover profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism and the importance of identity and the lived experience. The curriculum is structured to provide a cohesive focus on the key issues and debates relating to SEND, from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
