Course summary
This Graduate Entry LLB degree is a two-year law course - perfect if you have a degree already and want to get an undergraduate degree in Law. It's designed for graduates from any discipline who now want to study law and work in the Scottish legal profession. You’ll complete the full LLB in two years instead of four, covering all the subjects required by the Law Society of Scotland. You won’t just learn the rules of law – you’ll learn to think like a lawyer. Through case analysis, problem-solving and legal research, you’ll develop the skills to read complex material, build arguments and give clear, structured advice. If you have an undergraduate degree in another subject, our two-year accelerated Law degree gets your career started in the Scottish legal profession. This means you’ll gain a critical understanding of the theories, concepts and principles behind the Scottish legal system. Along the way, you’ll be actively encouraged to enhance your CV with extracurricular activities like pro-bono work and the mooting club.
