Course summary

This programme gives you the foundation in molecular and cellular biology that is fundamental to cancer biology and research. You’ll study and contribute to the latest developments in curing cancer, such as novel drugs and gene therapy. You’ll also discover how new therapies are developed, evaluated and implemented This MSc is also available for intercalating MBBS students.

Entry requirements

Degree requirements A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in a relevant subject such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Medicine from a recognised academic institution. Applicants with a 2:2 degree will be considered on an individual basis. Other routes The programme is open to graduate scientists, clinicians and other medical professionals working in healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry or contract research organisations.
