Aberystwyth is a centre for the study of Welsh history with expertise ranging from the medieval through to the modern period and a range of exciting themes, such as the Glyndwr Rebellion, religion and morality in the eighteenth century, empire and migration in the nineteenth, and health and welfare in the twentieth. A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Business, Psychology, Mathematics, and Science degree schemes also require a minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in Mathematics and/or Science at GCSE (or equivalent).
