Course summary

MSc Social and Cultural Psychology explores the ways in which culture and society shape how people think, behave and relate to each other. We draw on theories, concepts and methods of social and cultural psychology to understand how societies think, how communities develop a sense of identity and how they represent controversial and important issues affecting local and global public spheres. The MSc aims to give you a grounded understanding of theoretical and applied issues as well as a sophisticated training in a broad range of research methods. It will advance your knowledge and professional competence in the area of social and cultural psychology, and enhance your independent thinking and analytical skills.
