Compulsory modules Students on all pathways complete these four modules and three compulsory modules according to their pathway: Strategic Management: Building Competitive Advantage Designing High-Performing Organisations Developing Management Skills Research Project Business Management Pathway Students on the Business Management pathway will also complete the following compulsory modules: Social Responsibilities of Management Project Management Behavioural Data Science Marketing Pathway Students on the Marketing pathway will also complete the following compulsory modules: Digital Marketing and Branding Consumer Behaviour Marketing Strategy Innovation Pathway Students on the Innovation pathway will also complete the following compulsory modules: Innovation Theory Innovation Case Studies Design Thinking Entrepreneurship Pathway Students on the Entrepreneurship pathway will also complete the following compulsory modules: Entrepreneurial Finance Technological Innovation & Market Creation Innovation Case Studies Optional modules for all pathways Students from all pathways can choose one or two (30 credits) of the following optional modules, or they may choose from the compulsory modules from a different pathway. Developing Business Skills Creating Customer Experiences Consumer Culture Marketing Analytics Psychology of Marketing and Advertising Digital Research Methods Organisational Behaviour and Health Consumer Behaviour Intellectual Property, Trademarks and Brands Festival Management Please note that due to staff research commitments not all of these modules may be available every year.
Entry requirements
Students are normally expected to have first or upper second class (2:1) undergraduate degree, or equivalent from any discipline. Applicants with appropriate work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Such applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience, having performed management, marketing or entrepreneurial roles in a corporation, government agency, non-profit organisation or entrepreneurial company and/or in a technology-driven industry. These may include such roles as: Team manager Management consultant Business founder Brand manager Product manager Account manager Marketing consultant International qualifications We accept a wide range of international qualifications. If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.5 with a 6.0 in writing to study this programme.
