Enhancing the quality of our lives, computers aim to meet the challenges of the modern world. Graduates with skills and knowledge in computer science could help make an impact on some of the challenges society faces. Such challenges include healthcare, sustainability, online security, and environmental issues. Designed to give you the chance to cover the subject in more depth, this integrated Master's is based on our successful Computer Science BSc(Hons) course and includes an extra year that leads to an MSci qualification. You might get involved in developing solutions that use artificial intelligence (AI), or perhaps you'll look at how to use computing applications in engineering or scientific experiments to combat environmental problems. In your final year, you’ll have the chance to work in a small group on a project leading to the production of a piece of working software.
