Course Overview This foundation year course will develop your engineering knowledge and skills, to allow you to progress onto your degree. This will help you understand changing technology and how this will affect how machine operations in the future. During your foundation year, you will develop your engineering knowledge and skills. This includes using computer aided design tools, such as MATLAB. You'll develop analytical skills which you can apply to real-world problem-solving. You'll also gain study skills, to prepare you for success on your degree. Upon completion of your foundation year, you'll progress onto your degree. This is designed to prepare you for a career as an engineer, harnessing your expertise in mechatronics. You'll gain thorough knowledge of intelligent machines and develop mechatronic systems. This includes electromechanical systems, programmable logic controllers, robotics, precision technologies, systems engineering, and engineering management. Why study with us
